The Santa Clara County Public Health Department’s Getting To Zero initiative facilitates and coordinates an annual World AIDS Day observance. The county was in search of an external agency to lead the community-wide process of planning, implementing and evaluating their annual World AIDS Day activities.
The Health Department selected Facente Consulting due to our extensive expertise and effectiveness in community facilitation and project management. Activities included convening a planning committee with key stakeholders from across the county and developing activities to raise awareness of and provide education on HIV. Our collaboration with the Health Department and planning group resulted in successful 2022 and 2023 World AIDS Day events.
