SFDPH’s Community Health Leadership Initiative (CHLI) Workforce Development Program aims to develop and support a highly skilled workforce that reflects the populations served, has low turnover rates, and is valued and supported. SFDPH has partnered with Facente Consulting to facilitate the creation of citywide HIV, STD, and HCV sector standards.
A collaborative community model that incorporates input from employers and workers will be used to develop sector standards that create aligned and transparent structures, as well as shared policies and practices throughout the sector. As a result of these efforts, we anticipate an increase in workforce retention and an increase in high-quality services for communities.
