Petersen Clinics is part of the Department of Medicine’s division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Arizona, and collaborates with Banner Health Network to provide clinical care for people living with or at risk for HIV. The program provides outpatient and inpatient care at an affordable price for all HIV-infected adults, plus testing, education and counseling services to patients and their families. The Petersen Clinics provides patients with comprehensive HIV specialty care, using a multi-disciplinary team approach with a care team comprised of Infectious Disease specialists, pharmacists specializing in HIV medicine and highly experienced health professionals serving as clinical coordinators, medical case managers, and early interventionists.
