Long-acting injectable (LAI) PrEP and ART hold great promise for revolutionizing the field of HIV prevention and care, but successful rollout of these interventions will require thoughtfulness about messaging, clinical protocols, and equity measures.
Facente Consulting worked on a report that characterized the current practices of LAI PrEP and ART in San Francisco, explored the desired future state, and defined what changes need to occur for San Francisco to meet its goals. This work involved a review of available literature and best practice documents, interviews and focus groups with relevant stakeholders, site visits, and analysis and presentation of data.
