After a year of working with Facente Consulting to revamp their evaluation systems, the Tenderloin Community Benefit District (TLCBD) realized they could use guidance and assistance beyond their evaluation work. In 2021, TLCBD proposed to hire Facente Consulting on a retainer basis for executive leadership support and the development of systems, processes, and problem-solving more broadly in the organization.
Facente Consulting met with the executive director of TLCBD on a weekly basis to help troubleshoot challenges and suggest solutions for systems change in the organization. These informal coaching sessions were supplemented with ad hoc meetings with the leadership team to build the organization’s capacity for improving organizational stability, staff satisfaction, and team functioning. Facente Consulting’s assistance helped guide the organization through a period of intense change, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.
