This project was a collaboration with Garrow Consulting, LLC, with Garrow as the prime and Facente Consulting as the sub-contractor. The client was CAMI Health, working in partnership with Wits Reproductive Health and FHI360. Facente Consulting assisted in creating a Story Map depicting CAMI Health’s findings from qualitative interviews about reproductive health choices from young women, partners, grandmothers, and researchers/policymakers in Sub-Saharan Africa. The purpose of the Story Map was to convince people in positions of power, such as funders and advocates, to support the movement for MPTs (multipurpose prevention technologies – products that can simultaneously prevent HIV, STIs, and unplanned pregnancies).
Facente Consulting supported CAMI Health as a thought partner in designing the Story Map’s narrative. We also managed all technical aspects of the Story Map, including integrations with existing geographical information system (GIS) mapping tools, updating existing GIS mapping tools, designing color palettes and fonts, and developing graphics to support the narrative.
