New federal investments in harm reduction have included SAMHSA providing three-year harm reduction grants to a diverse group of 25 harm reduction, behavioral health, and drug treatment service providers in the United States. NASTAD chose Facente Consulting to partner as a technical assistance provider.
One of the grantee requirements involved developing a strategic plan. Facente Consulting worked in partnership with NASTAD to provide support to the grantees around their truncated planning processes. Project deliverables included a landscape analysis report, summaries of each agency’s projects and action plans, a final report on the strategic planning processes, and additional technical assistance sessions as requested.
