The SF LGBT Center Youth Program provides a drop-in program, navigation services for safe and stable housing, and culturally responsive, trauma-informed and restorative justice-based behavioral health services for youth in San Francisco. In 2020, the Youth Program sought to develop an evaluation plan that would help them best meet the needs of LGBT San Francisco youth in future years.
Facente Consulting was hired to assist the Center in refining their Youth Program objectives, developing program outcome measurement tools and processes, and assembling a written evaluation manual for use moving forward. The Center also asked us to facilitate a session to help them define the program’s “True North” for the next several years. Together, these deliverables helped the Center to refocus their Youth Program, especially while weathering the COVID-19 pandemic, which had a substantial impact on many of the youth the Center serves.
