In support of ending the HIV/HCV/STI syndemic, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has partnered with Facente Consulting to develop California’s Integrated Statewide Strategic Plan for Addressing HIV, HCV, and STIs from 2022-2026. The Strategic Plan provides 30 strategies rooted in six social determinants of health: racial equity, housing first, health access for all, mental health and substance use, economic justice, and stigma-free. These strategies are further explored in the Implementation Blueprint, developed through community engagement throughout the state.
Facente Consulting is providing CDPH and counties with technical assistance to develop and deploy activities in the Implementation Blueprint. Specifically, Facente Consulting is providing support with:
- Implementation Blueprint, including Blueprint development and implementation and providing feedback on local Blueprint drafts
- Community engagement, including assistance with town halls, focus groups, etc., and brainstorming ideas for engaging community members in implementation work
- Implementation, including strategizing to remove barriers to successful implementation and sharing best practices for developing cross-discipline partnerships
- Evaluation planning, including developing an evaluation strategy, and providing thought partnership on metrics, outcomes, and other aspects of evaluation
