Goal Setting and Program Planning for a Permanent Supportive Housing Provider

Alameda Point Collaborative

Project Years: 2024

Alameda Point Collaborative is the largest supportive housing community in Alameda County, providing over 500 formerly homeless residents with the safety and stability of a permanent home. Alameda Point Collaborative was able to redevelop 200 former Navy housing units to provide services to residents who include youth, survivors of domestic violence, adults and children with disabilities, people with substance use and mental health challenges, people living with HIV, and veterans. In addition to housing, they offer residents a range of employment, social, and healthcare services. As the leadership team has prepared to develop and restructure certain housing units, they reached out to Facente to create a resident-centered strategic planning process.

Facente Consulting worked with Alameda Point Collaborative to support a small-scale strategic planning process and develop a theory of change, helping refine goals and objectives, review challenges, and bring in residents’ feedback to create a path to achieving key strategic initiatives over the next three years.
