The AO Foundation was interested in determining the best communication channels for educational content to train cranio-maxillofacial (CMF) surgeons around the world. Facente Consulting anaylzed qualitative transcripts from interviews the AO Foundation had already collected with 92 CMF surgeons worldwide, and prepared a PowerPoint slide deck of preliminary findings that could be used for updating the AO Foundation board of directors on study progress.
Facente Consulting then prepared the methods and findings sections of a manuscript for peer-reviewed publication, highlighting the important findings related to perceptions and preferences of CMF surgeons regarding the use of technology and communications platforms to improve surgical skills, in a variety of settings, including some with very limited resources.
