To support San Francisco’s Tobacco-Free Project in analyzing local data to report during community engagement meeting presentations, Facente Consulting analyzed datasets from the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) and the Healthy Stores Healthy Communities (HSHC) Survey.
Through an extensive stakeholder engagement process, Facente Consulting helped California’s Tobacco Prevention Program to develop an equity and justice framework for commercial tobacco prevention.
Facente Consulting collaborated with the Tobacco-Free Project over the course of three years to guide, design and implement a range of evaluation activities, including survey data collection, key infomant interviews, public opinion polls, and training of community data collectors.
San Francisco Community Health Center hired Facente Consulting as an external evaluator for a five-year project focused on reducing commercial tobacco-related disparities in the LGBTQ+ community though coalition-building and policy change.
