Facente Consulting helped California’s Tobacco Control Program to plan and implement a Health Equity Summit in September 2022, followed by writing a Health Equity Plan to guide the Program’s work to end tobacco use in California among the most highly impacted groups.
San Francisco Community Health Center hired Facente Consulting as an external evaluator for a five-year project focused on reducing commercial tobacco-related disparities in the LGBTQ+ community though coalition-building and policy change.
To support San Francisco’s Tobacco Free Project in analyzing local data to report during community engagement meeting presentations, Facente Consulting analyzed datasets from the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) and the Healthy Stores Healthy Communities (HSHC) Survey.
Facente Consulting collaborated with the Tobacco Free Project over the course of three years to guide, design and implement a range of evaluation activities, including survey data collection, key infomant interviews, public opinion polls, and training of community data collectors.
