JT Taylor, MPP/MPH

JT’s work in the public health field began in the mid-1990s as an HIV testing counselor in San Francisco, and expanded over the next decade to include health policy and advocacy through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and national LGBTQ health advocacy organizations. JT spent the next 15 years as a consultant to public health agencies, nonprofits, and foundations, focusing on LGBTQ health and wellness, behavioral health, and trauma-informed care. They worked 13 of those years at Learning for Action, where they served as a longtime organizational leader and consultant, and then became the Managing Director of Gender Spectrum, a national nonprofit committed to creating a gender-inclusive world. JT brings expertise in organizational development, a dedication to cultivating a positive organizational culture that welcomes each member’s whole self, and an anti-racist, anti-oppression lens to the Talent Manager role at Facente Consulting. JT holds master’s degrees in public health and public policy from UC Berkeley, where they also completed their undergraduate work in social welfare.
